CALM but NOT a SAINT.

I'm hoping to meet someone who has at least 50% of the patience any woman would have on an average. And I absolutely do NOT need someone who acknowledges himself as RATIONAL, LOGICAL, REASONABLE, or as a DISCRIMINATING JUDGE of society and people in general.

I study Ancient Indian Texts (Vedas & Upanishads) for a living, which does not mean that I have any aversion towards other religions, but I obviously prefer a family that won't hinder my growth in this respect. Also, I do not conform to any religion and believe it to be a very personal matter for any individual, thus I prefer people who can keep their religious resentments to themselves.

I'd like to clarify my religious background. My mother belongs to a saraswat Brahmin family and we were born and brought up in this family. I follow culture and day to day rituals taught by my mother and maternal grandmother. My father on the other hand, belonged to a Muslim (Pathan) family, but had accepted Arya samaj in his youth (later married my mother). Religion for me and my brother is a very personal affair, we don't go about asking people about their religion. We often call ourselves non-religious, nevertheless we have immense faith in God.
